At last week’s Plantworx Construction Equipment Exhibition, at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Leicestershire. Lynch Plant Hire and Hill Engineering struck a deal for 50 new TEFRA Coupler’s worth £120K.
Once delivered the new TEFRA Quick Hitches will be coupled with 50 brand new Caterpillar machines which Lynch also purchased at the Plantworx exhibition in a deal worth £5.8million.
Lynch Plant Hire have been successfully working with, County Down based, Hill Engineering for many years and the synergy between the two companies continues to grow. Merrill Lynch, operations director at Lynch Plant Hire said, “Here at Lynch we run over 1000 excavators and each of the machines are fitted with Hill’s hitches! Lynch is committed to major investment in the very latest equipment and is busy expanding its fleet to meet the demands of the company’s busy work schedule. You’ll find Lynch owned machines fitted with Hill attachments on high profile projects including Crossrail, M25 expansion, Hinkley Point and the Chiltern Railway.
The company is also looking ahead in preparation for HS2 – where Lynch is expecting a big demand for machinery and attachments – Lynch is confident that Hill Engineering can deliver. “We like Hill’s ethos of meeting high demands,” said Merrill, “we get lots of requests from customers at short notice for attachments – Hill always respond quickly and are dedicated to customer service.” Merrill commented, “Our clients include Skanska, Carillion and Balfour Beatty and all are happy with our choice of Hill attachments.
